ModXStream Pro dari OCZ merupakan seri PSU dengan sistem kabel modular dan PFC aktif dengan varian 500W, 600W dan 700W. Sebelumnya pernah dibahas OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W. Yang akan dibahas dalam artiketl ini adalah model 500W. Di salah satu toko komputer di Jakarta, PSU ini dihargai Rp.676.000,-. Bagaimana dengan performanya? Mari dilihat dahulu fitur-fiturnya.

Konfigurasi kabelnya sama persis dengan model 600W. Hampir semua kabel menggunakan tipe 'kawat' (wire) 18 AWG (standard minimum) kecuali untuk kabel +3.3 V (orange) memakai 16 AWG. Tingkat efisiensi PSU ini sangat menakjubkan! Antara 81% - 85%. Begitu pula dengan sistem pengaturan tegangannya (voltage regulation), semuanya masih dalam ambang batas 3% dari yang semestinya. Tingkat distorsi tegangannya pun berada di bawah nilai maksimum yang dibolehkan.
